Matar Paneer with Naan

โ€œA royal North Indian combo you can't resist!โ€


๐Ÿ›’ Ingredients:

For Matar Paneer:

  • ๐Ÿง€ 200g paneer (cubed)

  • ๐ŸŒฑ 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)

  • ๐Ÿง… 1 onion (finely chopped)

  • ๐Ÿง„ 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • ๐Ÿ… 2 tomatoes (pureed)

  • ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ ยฝ tsp red chili powder

  • ๐ŸŒ• ยฝ tsp turmeric powder

  • ๐ŸŒฟ 1 tsp coriander powder

  • ๐Ÿฅ„ ยฝ tsp garam masala

  • ๐Ÿง‚ Salt to taste

  • ๐Ÿ’ง ยฝ cup water

  • ๐Ÿงˆ 2 tbsp oil or ghee

  • ๐ŸŒฟ Chopped coriander leaves for garnish


๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Instructions:

  1. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Add onions and sautรฉ until golden.

  2. ๐Ÿง„ Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until fragrant.

  3. ๐Ÿ… Stir in tomato puree, chili, turmeric, and coriander powder. Cook till oil separates.

  4. ๐ŸŒฑ Add green peas and water. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  5. ๐Ÿง€ Add paneer cubes, salt, and garam masala. Cook for 5 minutes on low flame.

  6. ๐ŸŒฟ Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
