Gujarati Aam Ras (Keri No Ras)

🥭 A taste of Gujarat in every spoon – pure, nostalgic, and full of sunshine! 🌞

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Unsweetened Kesar Mango Pulp 🥭
  • 1–2 tbsp powdered sugar or jaggery (adjust to taste) 🍯
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder (elaichi) 🌿
  • A pinch of dry ginger powder (optional) 🌶️
  • 1–2 tbsp milk or water (to adjust consistency) 🥛💧
  • A few saffron strands (optional, for aroma)

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

1️. In a mixing bowl, pour the unsweetened Kesar mango pulp.
2️Add sugar/jaggery, cardamom powder, and a pinch of dry ginger powder.
3️. Mix well and add milk or water to achieve your desired consistency.
4️Optional: Soak saffron strands in a teaspoon of warm milk and add for flavor.
5️. Chill the aam ras in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. ❄️
6️Serve cold with hot puris, thepla, or enjoy as is! 🍽️
