Sweet Jaggery Halwa

🍯 Sweet & Nutty Jaggery Halwa! ✨🍛

A warm, wholesome, and traditional Indian dessert made with jaggery, wheat flour, and ghee—perfect for festive feasts or cozy indulgence! 😍

Ingredients:

🥣 1 cup whole wheat flour
🍯 ½ cup jaggery (grated or powdered)
🧈 ½ cup ghee (clarified butter)
💧 2 cups water
🌿 ¼ tsp cardamom powder
🌰 2 tbsp chopped nuts (almonds, cashews)
🍇 1 tbsp raisins (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare Jaggery Syrup

1️⃣ Heat 2 cups of water in a pan.
2️⃣ Add grated jaggery and stir until fully dissolved.
3️⃣ Strain the syrup to remove any impurities and set it aside.

Step 2: Roast the Flour

1️⃣ In another pan, heat ghee on low flame.
2️⃣ Add whole wheat flour and roast on low heat until golden brown with a nutty aroma. Stir continuously to avoid burning.

Step 3: Cook the Halwa

1️⃣ Slowly add the jaggery syrup to the roasted flour while stirring to prevent lumps.
2️⃣ Stir continuously and cook until thickened and the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan.

Step 4: Flavor & Garnish

1️⃣ Add cardamom powder, chopped nuts, and raisins. Mix well.
2️⃣ Cook for another 1-2 minutes and turn off the heat.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy!
